Spectre
Spectre is an elegy to a polar bear that was held in captivity at the Banff Park Museum Zoo from 1922 until 1938. Crocheted snowflakes and crystals, suspended in a darkened room, create the bear’s silhouette. The title, Spectre, means both ghost and spectacle.
